These terms apply to your use of irvaniq.com, the Irvaniq seasonal visual journal. By using the site, you agree to use it in accordance with these terms and applicable law. If you do not agree, please stop using the site. Questions can be sent to contact@irvaniq.com.
What the journal provides
Irvaniq presents curated photographs, original editorial writing and tools for viewing, saving and sharing links to that content. The site does not provide accounts, direct public image uploads, commerce, a stock-image licensing service or a professional advice service.
The articles discuss visual observations and editorial interpretations. Seasonal groupings can be based on visual association and do not necessarily establish capture dates. Photographs are not reports of current conditions or guarantees about access, weather or an experience at a location. Do not treat a visual essay as a route guide or practical instruction.
Writing, photographs and other rights
The site’s original editorial writing, identity and design are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Photographs and other third-party works remain subject to the rights of their respective owners. Inclusion in this journal does not transfer ownership to a visitor or mean that Irvaniq created the photograph.
You may view the journal and share links to its pages for ordinary personal use. Other copying, republication, commercial reuse or redistribution requires an applicable permission or a legal exception. These terms do not replace or reduce permissions a rights holder may have independently granted you under a separate licence, or rights you may have under applicable law.
For an enquiry about reuse, identify the image or text, its page address and your intended use. We cannot promise to grant rights that we do not hold. Do not remove rights information where its retention is required, misrepresent authorship or imply that a creator endorses you.
Using the site responsibly
Do not interfere with the site’s operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code or use the site to infringe another person’s rights. Do not collect information through methods that circumvent access controls or cause unreasonable load. Ordinary use of a browser, assistive technology and search-engine indexing is not prohibited by this paragraph.
You are responsible for the content of any email you send. Avoid confidential material you do not have permission to disclose. Do not send unlawful, abusive or infringing content. A message asking us to consider a contribution does not create an agreement to publish it or transfer its rights.
Bookmarks, sharing and contact tools
Saved photographs are browser preferences, not permanent storage. They can be lost if browser data is cleared, a different device is used or storage becomes unavailable. A shared link points to the journal and may change if the underlying content is revised or removed. We do not guarantee that a saved selection or link will remain available indefinitely.
The contact tool prepares an email draft. It does not send a message, create a support ticket or confirm receipt. You must review and send the draft through your own email service. We do not promise a fixed response time or acceptance of a proposed contribution.
Corrections and rights concerns
We may correct, reorganise or remove content to improve the journal, address an error or respond to a rights concern. If you believe something is inaccurate or infringes rights you control, email the relevant page link, identify the material and explain the issue. Provide enough information for a considered review.
Sending an enquiry does not guarantee a particular outcome. We may need further information to assess it. We try to distinguish an observable detail from an interpretation and welcome specific corrections that help us do that more carefully.
Availability and responsibility
The site and its content are provided on an “as available” basis. We aim for accurate text and a usable experience, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free files or that every image will suit a particular purpose. Display characteristics, cropping and the context of a photograph can affect how it appears.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Irvaniq is not responsible for indirect losses arising from reliance on editorial interpretations, temporary unavailability or the loss of browser preferences. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes consumer rights that apply to you. These terms do not require you to give up a mandatory right or bring a claim in a particular forum.
Privacy and changes to these terms
Our Privacy Policy explains browser storage, technical delivery information and email correspondence. If features or practices change, we may revise the relevant terms and policies. The date above identifies this version. Updated terms apply prospectively to use after they are posted, subject to applicable requirements.
If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. For questions about using the journal, contact contact@irvaniq.com.
